Around the Globe Ernst & Young is a global leader in professional services with some 106,000 people based in 140 countries. They provide their clients with financial, transactional, and risk-management solutions, and core audit, tax, and corporate finance services.
Creative Arts Building on Ernst & Young’s sponsorship of major art exhibitions such as Renoir at the National Gallery, they have been able to provide private access to exhibitions and workshops for pupils and teachers. They have also facilitated the development of a relationship between the academy and the South London Gallery providing ongoing benefits for Bacon’s art students.
Enterprise Competition To support the academy with its aim of introducing a culture of enterprise, we jointly devised an enterprise competition involving 130 pupils from across year groups. Each small team had a business advisor from the firm (16 in total), a small amount of capital to invest, and the challenge to identify a concept/ produce to sell at the school’s summer fair. In total the business ventures raised over £2000 with a % donated to charity. The enterprise challenge is now an annual competition with the academy
