Our work in Swaziland

Between 2006 and 2011 Bacon's College raised funds annually for the Swaziland Charitable Trust.  Our appeal raised £47,126 in total and provided the college with links to Swaziland that will endure. Although the focus of our annual Christmas appeal has now changed, staff and students (past and present) continue to sponsor 40 orphans.

Fund-raising weeks are hectic but there is always a strong feel of community engendered by the joint efforts of the whole College.

Students from St Francis School in Swaziland brought their astonishing  'Swazi Voices' choir to Bacon's College in 2010, performing at the college and at London venues including Crichel House, Southwark Cathedral, Hatfield House and the Swaziland High Commission.
