Year 13 Leavers' Day
08/06/2012

On May 2012, all the Year 13 students gathered in the Chapel at Bacon's for their Leaver's Service.  It is an occasion when, like Janus, they look into both the past and the future - the future holds such promise, as 84% will progress to university, despite the increase in tuition fees for this academic year, but inevitably the past holds memories that may well become life long.

The 2010-12 cohort have made a distinctive contribution to College and to public life - a notable example is Joseph Ewing the Head Boy (offered a place to read PPE at Lincoln College Oxford 2012) who helped to launch the 400th Anniversary of the King James' Bible in the Banqueting Hall Westminster, in the presence of 400 inviited guests and who was asked to read a prayer, following the Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove, at the final celebratory Service in November 2011.

After the Chapel service there was a prolonged photo shoot in the grounds of the College - the evidence of which is displayed on this page, through many different permutations of student groups
