Texas Instruments sponsored Mr Afolayan and Mr Fox to go to a conference in Texas over the Easter holidays. Bacons College Science and Maths Departments are one of only two schools in the UK chosen for Texas Instruments’ European Science Pilot Project.
At the conference both teachers were shown the latest datalogging equipment and were given ideas about how it could be used in lessons. Texas Instruments have loaned Bacons College over a £1000 worth of equipment to trial and then use.
