This year's Sixth Form open evening is on 23rd November 5-7pm; attendance is recommended as current Sixth Form students and staff will provide valuable information about life in the Sixth Form and the courses on offer.
Bacon's Sixth Form prospectus will be handed out at the above open evening and includes an application form and curriculum details outlining the entry requirements for each subject. These are also available by following the links on the left.
The closing date for application for September 2012 entry is 30th January 2012: candidates will be invited for interview following an initial shortlisting of application forms by the end of February 2012.
The interviewing process spans 6-8 weeks; we endeavour to inform successful candidates by the Easter holiday.
Successful candidates are invited to accept the College's offer of a place within a month of receipt of the offer letter.
Enrolment arrangements are communicated during the first half of the Summer Term. Enrolment day is usually scheduled to coincide with GCSE results day around August 25th.
There is an induction week for new Year 12 students during the first week of the Autumn Term.
